1. Arrive for class at least 5 minutes before your scheduled time. If you need to change allow additional time. Anyone arriving late must kneel by the entrance (near shoe rack) and wait to be invited in.
2. When you arrive check in at the reception desk by giving your ID number.
3. No street shoes or sneakers are permitted in the Dojo. Remove your socks and shoes before entering. Place shoes in the shoe rack provided.
4. All street clothing and equipment bags are to be left in the dressing rooms.
5. No food or drink is permitted in the Dojo (you may drink in the lobby).
6. Bow as you enter and leave the Dojo. This shows respect and is customary in the Martial Arts.
7. At all times you must wear the proper clean uniform: Full Gi: from October thru March; Gi pants with Kempo school shirt, plain white shirt (without words or designs), or full Gi: from April thru September.
8. No Jewelry (head bands or other tie backs for your hair are permitted).
9. Do not put your Karate belt on until instructed to; all students must learn to tie their own belt. (Little Tigers may have their belts on upon arrival).
10. Be courteous to your Instructors and fellow students at all times. The Chief Instructor should be addressed as Sensei. Other instructors as Mister or Miss.
11. If you have an injury or other restrictions notify your Instructor before class begins or when an injury occurs.
12. When class is ended shake hands with your instructors and fellow students before leaving the Dojo.
13. Learn the Five Animals and Three School Rules of Conduct.
14. Physical fitness is important, therefore, all students must be able to perform a minimum of 15 perfect pushups at orange belt, 20 at blue, 25 at blue stripe, 30 at green and 35 at green stripe.
